Bill Dempsey is a Digital Accessibility Specialist at Northeastern University where he serves as the lead for the university’s Digital Accessibility Program. Bill provides guidance and training to faculty and staff to ensure their websites are accessible to the widest range of users. Bill came to Northeastern after 17 years in the public sector, where he worked as both a technical writer and web developer. He holds a master’s degree in media arts from Emerson College where he studied filmmaking, an undergraduate degree in English from Boston College, and a diploma in commercial photography from New England School of Photography. He is a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) by the International Association of Accessibility Professionals.
Through a consultation, you will receive guidance on digital accessibility barriers to look out for, remediation strategies, and testing tools and techniques.
