Policy on Digital Accessibility

The Policy on Digital Accessibility applies to Northeastern University academic and administrative units that procure, create, develop and maintain websites, web-based applications, and other electronic and information technology used in the programs and activities of the university.

Individuals and entities, including employees and external vendors, who procure, create or maintain electronic information and technology on behalf of the university shall comply with this policy and the procedures.

The university follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA for guidance in meeting its accessibility commitments, including the use of alternative formats.
